Broward College and the Rosemary Duffy Larson are pleased to present Transitions, opening to the public on Monday, August 24, 2026, featuring works of sculpture by one of our very own, Israel "Isi" Ghelman, whose thirteen years at BC make him a fixture in our learning community and a dear member of our artistic family. Drawing inspiration from Modernist sculpture, Ghelman's work in stone, wood, metals, and found objects assumes a contemporary language all its own. Timeless materials of the natural world juxtapose against the synthetic and manmade to create a collaboration between artist and material, form and meaning.
