Since its inception in 2008 by concert pianists Catherine Lan and Tao Lin, Duo Beaux Arts has engaged with audiences through unique programming and adrenalized presentation of music from various genres. The Duo has been featured on National Public Radio and performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall. They have taught masterclasses and appeared as guest artists across Asia, North America, and Europe. In 2024, the Duo was invited to be artists-in-residency at La Maison d’éducation de la Légion d’honneur in Saint-Denis, France.
