The Department of Theatre at Broward Community College will present Body Parts, an original one-act play by Broward College Professor Mariah Reed and her students in the Performing and Cultural Arts Theatre on South Campus from April 24-26, 2026. Performances take place Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Body Parts is a collection of original scenes, monologues and songs about society’s obsession with physical beauty and the ways in which people judge one another unfairly based upon physical characteristics, culture, and orientation. Students plumbed story lines from personal experiences and, together with faculty, have structured a highly relatable theatrical experience sure to move all audiences.
