The Moors

In a battered old manor perched on a wind-scoured English heath, two reclusive sisters, a maid with a tenuous grasp on reality, and a soul-searching mastiff pass the days plotting, yearning, and quietly fermenting in their isolation. Into this peculiar household stumbles a hapless governess—though not a child is in sight—followed by a reckless moorhen with a knack for calamity. Their presence stirs a volatile brew of secret longings, shifting loyalties, and dangerous games, until the air hums with the possibility that someone, anyone, might come unhinged.
Macabre, absurd, and brimming with slow-burn tension, The Moors is best suited for audiences 13+. Performances run Thursday - Sunday at 7:00 p.m. as well as at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, November 20-23, 2025 at The Performing and Cultural Arts Theatre, Broward College South Campus, 7200 Pines Boulevard, Building 68.
