Black Life by Michael Thomas - Opening Reception

In "Black Life," Michael Thomas presents a compelling visual narrative that pays homage to the rich cultural contributions of African Americans throughout history. His grand-scale sculptures capture scenes of resilience, community, and daily life, showcasing the complexities of African American experiences. Each piece is intricately constructed using diverse art and non-art materials, inviting viewers to engage with the depth and richness of the explored themes.

Michael Thomas, a talented artist based in North Miami, Florida, has significantly contributed to the art scene with his thought-provoking works. He has exhibited extensively across numerous U.S. states, as well as at esteemed venues such as the Art and Cultural Center of Hollywood and the Bonnet House Museum and Garden.
